GROK Collective

Formed in 2023 by artist and producer Gavin Brockis ⚝ and vocalist performer China Fish ⚝ who have collaborated together on artistic projects for over 10 years, the GROK Collective ⚝ is a South-West  based ambient dreampunk collective of musicians, performers and artists, exploring sound and visual environments that create and enhance blissful, present, and meditative states of mind for divergent audiences of all kinds ⚝

Joined by DJ producer Bart Malpas ⚝ remixing the day with his granulated field recordings, interwoven with selected samples and original sound beds, we played our inaugural live set at the Temple Arena for Unearthed Festival 2023 in beautiful West Wales, with immersive surround sound from engineer Silas Irastus Black ⚝ 

Gavin, China and Bart continue to develop the sound and concept of GROK, with site specific recordings, reactive and interactive abstract visuals, and elements of ritual combined with structured spontaneous performance and audience led experiences ⚝
